Hillside Baptist Church began with a desire birthed many years ago to see churches planted in rural communities. This desire began with Elk Ridge Baptist Church in Stephenville, Tx. Elk Ridge is itself a church plant that began in a garage over ten years ago with a small group of believers dedicated to the Gospel and to Global Missions.

In 2022, a lot became available in Bluff Dale. At this time, the elders at Elk Ridge approached the then Youth Pastor to begin to pray about planting a new church. After much prayer and discussion, it was clear that God was opening a door to begin this new work.

So much has been done here at Hillside in just a short time. And with your help, we can continue many more years of growth and kingdom building right here in Bluff Dale. We invite you to come and see what God is doing at Hillside.

Hillside Baptist Church held its first service on August 07, 2022 and became an independent church in June of 2024.
